Thoughts On: Best Random Screen Moments 2014, Part 2

As this year draws to a close, a look back at more great moments...

Mcconaughey was not first choice...
The Star Wars 7 Teaser:
Remember when we all saw that teaser 50 times? Some of us are still watching it...and some of us decided to make, Lego, GTA 5, George Lucas, and cardboard versions of it. Its worth noting that Stephen Colbert's explanation of the hilted lightsaber has helped get me through the winter season.

Zoe Catches A Train, House of Cards:
Remember that moment when Frank got away with the most un-
get-awayable murder ever? I should have been mad that the show tried to convince me that someone that high profile could get away with back to back season killings. I wasn't. In fact, I demand that as President, he get away with even more...

Interstellar's Plot:

A screen shot of the tryouts for the Star Wars teaser...
Remember that moment when Mcconaughey was stuck in that bookcase, moved the hands of that clock, helped his daughter solve humanities' biggest problem, and made you realize you had no idea what was going on?
Well thankfully you weren't alone. Interstellar could have really missed the landing, but thankfully, the movie convinced me that lots of math on a chalkboard is always impressive and somebody else's problem...

The Batman v Superman Comic-Con Teaser:
Remember that moment when you winced to see shaky phone video versions of the teaser immediately after it premiered at Comic-Con?... and people complained the Star Wars teaser didn't show much. It literally showed Batman and Superman staring at each other. Yet, to see them in the same shot was awesome and their glowing eye's made me wish they would both just pull out lightsabers...

2015 is shaping up to bring us more moments, hopefully we understand them all, and hopefully they include lightsabers...
