Thoughts On: The Visit Trailer...

When I heard about M. Night returning to horror, I'll admit, I was pretty excited. We haven't had a good movie from him since Signs, everything after that is sub par and you know it. The trailer is finally out for The Visit and I gotta say, This movie looks like total crap...

1. Found Footage:
Really? Has it come to this? This style of movie needed to give it a rest after Paranormal Activity and Cloverfield. You actually expect me to believe that these two kids stick around and film all of their parents odd behavior?

2. "The Happening" Walk:
This trailer was filled with the grandparents doing that awkward stop, stare, and walk away routine from The Happening...which is

5 Thoughts On: Game of Thrones S5E3...

We didn't get any Dany this week, but that's ok because girl power was in abundance...speaking of which...

1. Margery Wins at Life:
Margaery married the king, and almost got him to send his mom home all in the span of one episode. Cersei never looked so over the hill. It's gona take a miracle for her to get back in the driver seat...good thing she's making friends with the latest religious movement...

2. Arya Keeps the Sword:
Arya couldn't part with it, which is good because for me that sword is the embodiment of the old Winterfell, and the Stark family...plus she needs Needle to scratch names off her list...

Game of Thrones: Top 10 People We Want Dead

SPOILERS...There you'e been warned. If there's one thing Arya has never ceased to remind us, it's that this show has characters we want dead. Here they are in order from least to greatest...the top 10 people we want dead on Game of Thrones (as of Season 5 episode 2...this list is subject to change).

10. Theon Greyjoy:
-Betrayed Robb Stark
-Killed Rodrick Cassel
-Tried to find and kill Bran and Rickon

9. Ramsey Bolton:
-For being absolutely crazy

8. Lady Melisandre, AKA "The Red Woman":
-Birthed a demon that killed Renly Baratheon
-Whispers into Stannis' ear about religious extremism
-Wanted Gendry dead

4 Best Game of Thrones S5E2 Moments...

The second episode of the season gave a some very good moments indeed. Here are the best 4...in no particular order...
I totally thought it might eat her like Reign of Fire...

1. Jon Snow is Lord Commander:
I'm not gona lie, When Stannis told Jon that he could become a Stark, I was kind of leaning toward that option. It didn't happen, and instead, thanks to the moral compass of good ole Sam, Jon Snow is the new boss. This show doesn't exactly have a reputation of rewarding it's characters with good fortune, but surprisingly thats what happened. I predict he'll get an assassination attempt or two coming his way...

2. Arya and Jaqen H'ghar...Who

3 Thoughts On: Batman vs Superman Teaser

Another big trailer has dropped and this movie is even farther away than Star Wars is...Some of you might remember that shaky teaser footage from Comic-Con last year, this teaser is a lot like that...Here are some thoughts...

1. It's Moody:
Night shots, rain, Jeremy Iron's voice, religious/ philosophical statements...this teaser came across very heavy. Man of Steel's moodiness was like a character all its own. This teaser tells me that Zack Snyder isn't going to shift his mood (or color) palette too far.

2. The Riddler?
There was a giant question mark in minute 1:20...I haven't heard anything about the Riddler being in this movie (probably because Jim carrey's rendition can't be unseen), but maybe this is foreshadowing  something even farther away that 2016...

5 Thoughts On: Star Wars...The Force Awakens...Teaser 2...We're Home...

We've been waiting for another glimpse and now it's here. Could this movie suck? Absolutely yes, but this teaser absolutely delivered. It had the best mix of action, emotion, and scope... and chrome troopers, and the color red, and music. Here are my thoughts on the next teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens... (speaking of which, that name is really growing on me)

1. Han Solo and Chewbacca:
I just about died when I saw them. I've seen this thing probably 50 times and that part still gives me shivers. What made that moment even better was the fact that the two were inside the Millennium Falcon...and you have to give it to Chewie, he hasn't aged a day, and neither has his bowcaster... Also, I'm really glad that Leia and Luke (and for that matter C3PO) didn't get the same screen time. This was just enough to keeps us happy...

Terminator Genisys: 3 Reasons Why the New Trailer Just Killed It...

The new Terminator Genisys trailer has been released and it pretty much spoils its own plot twist. I've never believed that this movie would be good...but now I'm sure it'll be a fail...How could this happen? Who knows... here are 3 reasons why the new trailer is a fail...

1. Who Pitched The John Connor/ Terminator Idea?:
...Because this is the worst idea ever. Adult John Connor was always a better peripheral character. In the two good Terminator movies (1 and 2), adult Connor was the guy whose greatness everyone talked about but never really saw much of. So this movie is going to take the adult Connor that we didn't even want to see in Terminator 3 and Salvation...and one up them by making him a Terminator? Ok, you

Thoughts On: Game of Thrones...Season 5 Premiere...

I've been waiting for this show, you've been waiting for this show...Game of Thrones is finally back. Truth be told this was a slightly slower premiere (not that I expected a mind blowing betrayal ridden episode)...my thoughts...
Thats pretty much how he looked the whole episode...

Tyrion Will Visit Daenerys:
...Let me just say that Tyrion's self pity took up too much screen time. With that out of the way... I'm hoping it won't take him till the end of the season to meet Daenerys... because as we all know, Dany has moved at a snails pace. Regardless, the two uniting will be awesome, especially considering that..
a) Tyrion's brother killed the Mad
King, which should make for fun dinner conversation...and...
b) I'd never been able to envision an ending to show that had both succeed (considering that they are on

Thoughts On: True Detective Season 2 Teaser

The first preview of HBO's True Detective has finally arrived...and while it is't much, it's enough to get me to June 21st. It's dark, it's moody, there's smoking, and there's fighting...everything you'd expect from True Detective...even the background music pays homage to the first seasons "Far From Any Road." Here are 3 thoughts on the new True Detective teaser...

Colin Farrell Looks Like Crap:
...But I'm liking it. Matthew McConaughey was to romantic comedies what Colin Farrell has been to that same arrogant attitude from The Recruit. It will be nice to see a change from him...and judging from his tired looking, bolo tie wearing, heavy set character, thats what we're gona get.

Vince Vaughn is Back:
It's nice to see him actually acting again. This preview alone was a refreshing take on Vaughn, who hasn't actually acted since Into the

Thoughts On: Better Call Saul Season 1 Finale...

Well season 1 is behind us, and I must say...it left me wanting more. I mean this in the sense that while I like the show, I wish it could have brought just a bit more to the table. Here are my thoughts on its first finale...

Where's The Danger?:
Tuco? Nacho? Gustavo Fring? I thought they might show up in this episode. It didn't feel like there was much edge to this episode (like having Jimmy fear for his life like he did in the beginning of the season), it would have added a lot...On a related note, I would liked to have seen more Mike...

Where's the Flash Forward?:
I really wanted another one of these, but it wasn't to be. If season 2 doesn't open with one I will

3 Thoughts On: Live Action Mulan...It'll Never End...

With Snow White, Cinderella, and Maleficent getting shots at live action...I suppose it was only a matter of time before Mulan got a turn...and I can't say I hate the idea. Even though a live action Mulan will probably suck, the movie has a lot going for it...My thoughts...
...Or you could just make this movie like The Last Samurai...

1. This Movie Should Not be Rated G:
Lets face it, Mulan is a war movie...messengers are executed, battles are fought, families are torn apart, and political leaders face assassination attempts. There probably isn't a (good) G way to make a live action version of this movie...Pirates got away with PG-13, why can't this?

2. This Movie Should be Like Pirates of the Caribbean Meets Les Miserables:
You know you love the songs from the original Mulan. I'll bet you still sing the words, "lets get down
