3 Thoughts On: Live Action Mulan...It'll Never End...

           With Snow White, Cinderella, and Maleficent getting shots at live action...I suppose it was only a matter of time before Mulan got a turn...and I can't say I hate the idea. Even though a live action Mulan will probably suck, the movie has a lot going for it...My thoughts...

...Or you could just make this movie like The Last Samurai...

1. This Movie Should Not be Rated G:  
Lets face it, Mulan is a war movie...messengers are executed, battles are fought, families are torn apart, and political leaders face assassination attempts. There probably isn't a (good) G way to make a live action version of this movie...Pirates got away with PG-13, why can't this?

2. This Movie Should be Like Pirates of the Caribbean Meets Les Miserables:
You know you love the songs from the original Mulan. I'll bet you still sing the words, "lets get down
to business," when you work out at the gym. It would be criminal if the live action version didn't include these awesome songs. Disney can just re-dub Christina Aguilera's vocals in there for all I care, just keep em...

3. Mushu Shouldn't Be In The Movie Unless Eddie Murphy Comes Back... If Eddie Murphy Comes Back He'll Cheapen the Movie... Therefore Mushu Shouldn't Come Back:
Mushu is a character best kept in cartoon form... Lets be honest it would be like having Jar Jar Binks in Mulan...nobody needs that...

           Again... I won't be at all surprised if this movie flops big time...but this won't be Disney's last attempt to bring an animated classic to life... Beauty and the Beast is due in 2017...you know what, might as well throw Aladdin in there...
