4 Thoughts On: House of Cards, Season 3 Premiere...Doug Calm Down...

           House of Cards is back, and this season didn't waste much time. As you may remember, Frank's the President...now my thoughts...(and I forgot how dark this show is...by that I literally mean the brightness is way down, even during daytime shots...anyways...)

Hugh Laurie was asked to played Doug in some scenes the way Andy
Serkis played Gollum...

The Opener:
Ok so Frank didn't kill anyone this time, but he did completely desecrate the grave of his father...

Holy Crap Doug Survived:
Admit it...you thought he was totally dead last season. It's ok, so did I, But thankfully the most reliable character (next to Frank) is still in the game. Interestingly, Doug's a lot more like Doctor House now:
1. He uses a cane the same way
House did...
2. He has a new found bad attitude...
3. He looks scruffy...
4. Even his apartment looks like House's
Good old Doug...he treated that broken arm the way I treat a sprained finger...

The Colbert Report Survived:
Because this Episode was in 2014 we got to see the real last episode of the Colbert Report...We thought he was dead too...

More Cut Throat:
1.Claire straight up tells Doug to lie to the police
2. Frank approves an air strike in front of Claire to prove a point
3. Frank has Remy fire someone just for asking questions

           This episode was kind of business a usual in that Frank wants stuff done and everybody in Congress is in his way...The only thing that would make this harder for him is if Claire wanted something like a nomination...oh wait...
