4 Thoughts On: Better Call Saul Episode 5...Chandler...

           This show is still in its formative stage, which is why I forgive some of the slower parts. Tonights episode wasn't high risk, but it still moved things along neatly...

Looks like he took the case after all...

1. Chuck's Allergy:

Given the special emphasis placed on Chucks electromagnetic fears, I'm hoping it impacts the plot in some way instead of just getting in the way...or maybe to our surprise...Chuck will get better... 

2. Jimmys Clients:

All of the people Jimmy met are exactly the sort I'd expect Saul to take on as clients, yet interestingly,
Jimmy was hesitant... It will be interesting to see why his perspective changes. The Saul Goodman I know would have squeezed every nickel out of Chandlers toilet...

Looks like Mike could use that toilet buddy...

4. Mike's Joining The Party:
Couple interesting observations...
1. Mike's Daughter will be a part of this show...which is a smart move because she wasn't a character         we got to know on Breaking bad...
2. Mike grabbed a baseball bat instead of a gun after hearing that knock on the door...The Mike I know would have pulled a silenced handgun out of his seat cushion.
Looks like Mike will get an episode next week, which we've all needed...

3. The Nursing Home:

Admit it, you expected to see Tio Salamanca in that scene...its ok, so did I...

           A bit of a slower episode, but it's laying down some solid roots. Remember, it took 6 episodes to see Walter blow up Tuco's hideout....
